Dear visitor to our website,

SCHOPF has been in existence since the end of the 40's. During this time the company has achieved a leading international position in developing, manufacturing and servicing special vehicles for airports and underground mining. The reasons for our success lie in continuous product development, our corporate strategy and especially from always working closely with our customers. The joint experiences with our customers have led ultimately to the current immaculate image of the SCHOPF brand name, of which all our employees are very proud.

In recent years, our aircraft tow tractors have evolved into the trendsetting range of the industry. The focus here has been on operational safety and, increasingly more important, low operating costs. Our customers have rewarded this with an increasing number of orders. A further reason for this success is the outstanding quality and excellent support for the vehicles supplied. 85% repeat orders are proof of our customers' high level of confidence. This helps bring in more and more satisfied customers.

Strategic co-operation and further developments in mining have led to additions to the range of loaders (see separate page) and to an increased market presence with service stations.

In 2008, we took on the well-known brand ROFAN. Since then, SCHOPF ROFAN GmbH has been active as a subsidiary of SCHOPF Maschinenbau GmbH. The amalgamation brought many things to light, and ROFAN has now become profitable once again. In the future, ROFAN will play an important role in the export of baggage and cargo tow tractors.

Our staff completely relate to the products and our widely diversified international customer base. Therefore we place great value on a motivated, qualified team, from recruiting to human resources development. The average SCHOPF employee works 15 years for us, which speaks volumes for our good working atmosphere. We regularly train apprentices from 7 different trades, in order to support and challenge our own new blood.

In the last few years, we have heavily invested in buildings and infrastructure systems. Just recently, we purchased some bordering land, which will help boost future production capacity.

We will continue to align ourselves strategically and develop the best products for the market in order to continue the decades of international success. Our focus will remain on airports, mining and industry.
